Preston-Osborne, a full service marketing communications and research
firm, is looking for a self-motivated and creatively minded graphic
designer with 1 - 4 years experience to join our informal but driven
team of graphic designers. You will be working with our award-winning,
creative team to generate concepts and create a wide range of identity/collateral
materials, advertisements, etc. for our great client roster.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create fresh design concepts for our valued clients including
logos, brochures, ads, websites, exhibit design, web banners,
etc.
- Interface with other designers and account service teams to
strengthen and create client results.
- Work with outside resources for photographing products, preparing
illustrations and printing specifications.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
- Portfolio demonstrating a mix of strong conceptual development,
trend spotting, and the ability to refine an idea.
- 1 - 4 years experience working in graphic design/advertising/marketing
environment.
- Excellent sense of color and typography.
- Ability to sketch and a high degree of craft and excellence.
- Ability to visualize or mock-up design concepts.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and Quark Xpress for the
Macintosh.
- Ability to work under time constraints and take direction from
team members.
- Understanding of the 4 color printing process and the Pantone
color system (or the ability to learn on the job from other designers).
- Bachelor's Graphic Design degree preferred
- Web experience a plus but not required.

Print Media Planner/Buyer. This position is responsible for implementing
strategic media plans and negotiating supporting media buys (print,
out-of-home & internet) for both national and regional markets.
Strong media negotiation skills required. 3-5 years background in
print planning and print buying (trade & consumer publications,
local/regional newspaper) required. Proficiency with Word and Excel
required, as well as some experience with Web advertising. PowerPoint
skills are desired. Must be detail oriented, able to work in a deadline

agencies on one of their top accounts? A Louisville agency seeks
a Brand Architect to develop and implement strategic planning initiatives
for this account. This role requires a creative business thinker
who can skillfully research, plan and execute strategic marketing
and advertising solutions; an individual who has a passion for the
marketing industry and a strong desire for personal and professional
growth; and an outstanding communicator, capable of presenting and
selling innovative ideas and marketing plans. This person will become
the expert on the brand within the Agency and primary Agency contact
person with the client team. The Brand Architect of this account
will monitor, support and coordinate all of the day-to-day efforts
regarding the brand. This position will report directly to the Director,
Brand Stewardship and will also work closely with the President/CEO.
This is a super opportunity for someone with only 5-7 years experience
